Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Site Trainer to join our Supply Chain team at one of our busy Distribution Centres. The role involves delivering a range of MHE (Material Handling Equipment) training – from basic safety to refresher programmes – ensuring all learning is documented in line with company policy. You will work predominantly on the 22:00‑06:00 shift, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for other shift patterns as required.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
* Deliver MHE training to operators, covering PPT, CBT, RT, VNA, MEWP and other equipment.
* Teach and support use of the FMS (Fleet Management System) for all MHE staff.
* Complete and support site inductions on MHE/Manual Handling for all FTE and agency staff.
* Assist with risk assessment (RA) and safe systems of work (SSOW) completion in partnership with the nominated person(s).
* Maintain a consistently high level of technical training through various delivery methods.
* Support onsite training buddies to provide exceptional service.
* Review and update training content to align with RTITB / IITSAR recommendations.
* Stay current with changes to RTITB and ITTSAR standards, ensuring training remains fit for purpose.
* Act as a safety ambassador on the DC, completing Behavioural Safety Audits regularly.
