Duties will include preparing theatre, offering patient care and support on arrival at the clinic, assisting with Egg Collections, Surgical Sperm Recovery and Embryo Transfer procedures and recovering patients after sedation; as well as assisting with updating and maintaining service records of all medical equipment and ensuring correct control, storage and administration of controlled drugs and other drugs in accordance with clinic protocols. Qualifications To apply for the position the following criteria are essential:
• Registered 1st level Nurse or Registered Midwife with NMC registration
• Experience within theatres, recovery or day surgery although not essential Knowledge and Experience
• Interest in Women's Health
• Knowledge of change management
• Understanding of clinical governance and audit issues
• IV drug administration
• Venepuncture Skills
• Ability to motivate self and others
• Good team worker
• Ability to work unsupervised
