An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing not for profit organisation on a part time basis, based on the outskirts of Cambridge. This role is an ongoing temporary position, expected to be for a few months to help the team through a period of transition. Within this role, you will report into the Financial Controller. This role will be for c.3 days per week, and the hours can be worked across multiple days. As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with the following duties: - Processing purchase invoices - Importing staff expenses into Sage - Bank postings and reconciliations - Assisting with payment runs - Raising sales invoices As the successful candidate for this role, you will have previous experience working in a similar role, with good knowledge of accounting processes and procedures. You will also be an effective communicator, have good organisational skills and work to a high degree of accuracy. Experience with Sage 200 would be considered advantageous.
