Otis is growing, and we are recruiting an Account Manager. The main goal of the role is to achieve sales growth through creating and managing customer relationships, sales achievement, situational problem solving, and comprehensive account management. The role will be based across South London, reporting to the Operating Territory Manager.
On a Typical Day You Will
* Manage a portfolio of lift/elevator units by maintaining good working relationships with existing customers.
* Serve as the primary contact for timely resolution of customer inquiries.
* Develop build-on repair and modernization sales through networking, bids, and tenders.
* Develop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets, ensuring profitability.
* Use Otis’ sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results.
* Conduct sales negotiations and close deals, ensuring payment on time.
* Collaborate with team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues.
What You Will Need to Be Successful
* Strong background in sales and/or account management, ideally within service/construction or technical sales.
* Experience in selling technical products requiring customer consultation.
* Strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills.
* Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills to develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
* Target-focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organization.
