The Role
As a Vehicle Paint Technician, you’ll play a key part in returning vehicles to their pre-accident condition with flawless, manufacturer-standard finishes. From preparation to final coat, your work will reflect the highest standards of the industry.
Key Responsibilities
14. Prepare vehicles for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking)
15. Accurately mix and colour-match paints using advanced systems
16. Apply coatings using spray guns and maintain spray booths
17. Carry out final quality checks to ensure paintwork meets top standards
18. Collaborate with the workshop team to meet repair deadlines
19. Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-compliant workspace
What You’ll Bring
20. Proven experience as a Paint Technician or Prepper in an automotive bodyshop
21. Expertise in modern paint systems, materials, and application techniques
22. Confident in colour matching and blending
23. A keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
24. Strong teamwork and communication skills
25. ATA/SVQ Level 3 qualification (preferred – training support available)
