About the Role: As a Science Teacher, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging classroom environment, promoting curiosity, and helping students achieve their academic goals. Key Responsibilities: Deliver well-planned and engaging Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum Encourage student participation and curiosity in scientific topics Manage classroom behaviour effectively and positively Track and assess student progress, providing clear feedback Collaborate with staff to support whole-school goals and activities Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT), or equivalent overseas qualification. Strong subject knowledge in Science (any specialism welcomed). Passion for teaching and developing students' interest in Science. Good classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
