About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Masterplanning, Landscape and Assessment (MLA) team and play a key role in shaping its future direction. As Head of Landscape and Townscape Assessment, you will lead and develop a talented group of professionals delivering complex and creative assessment projects across both urban and rural contexts.
This role offers the chance to help establish and expand the assessment function from the inside, building on strong foundations while introducing new ideas, services, and approaches. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing strategic and technical leadership across landscape and townscape assessment services.

About You
You are an experienced and inspiring leader with a strong background in landscape and/or townscape assessment and a deep understanding of LVIA methodologies. You bring both creative and commercial insight, capable of balancing development needs with environmental and design considerations.
Essential qualifications and experience:
* Degree (and preferably postgraduate qualification) in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
* Chartered membership of the Landscape Institute (or equivalent).
* Significant experience delivering landscape and/or townscape assessments across varied environments.
* Strong commercial awareness with a track record of business development.
* Proven leadership and mentoring skills within a multidisciplinary setting.
