Barnett Hill is a beautiful Queen Anne style property, built in 1905, set within 26 acres of well-maintained gardens and woodlands, located in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just outside Guildford, Surrey. It is 15 minutes from Guildford town and 45 minutes from Central London.
The hotel features a 4-star, 2-AA rosette restaurant, 56 bedrooms, and conference and banqueting facilities for up to 120 guests, all within the scenic grounds. The Oak Room restaurant has earned 2 AA rosettes, complemented by the 1905 Bar and Café for informal dining, with sunny outdoor terraces for summer service. Afternoon Tea is popular among residents and visitors, with a variety of menus for every taste and occasion.
The Role
We are seeking an energetic individual with a keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness in guest bedrooms and bathrooms.
35 hours per week, with flexible start times available.
Responsibilities include:
* Cleaning guest bedrooms, including changing bedlinen daily, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming
* Resetting hospitality trays and guest information packs
* Cleaning corridors and public areas
* Stocking linen for the next day
* Refilling housekeeping cupboards for the following day
* Reporting maintenance issues to the supervisor/manager
* Internal window and carpet cleaning as required
Requirements
Attention to detail, enthusiasm, and energy for cleaning and presentation are essential.
Methodical working routines and the ability to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota, including weekends, are required.
