We are excited to announce the expansion of the Gastroenterology department at Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham. University Hospitals Birmingham leads the way in the delivery of gastroenterology services across the Midlands. Across the Heartlands and Solihull sites we have a group of likeminded professionals who dedicate themselves in a variety of subspeciality interests, including inflammatory bowel disease, nutrition, hepatology and advanced endoscopy. Our colleagues pride themselves on leading through clinical excellence- supporting patients in accessing healthcare to build healthier lives and create environments for all staff to ensure they feel safe, valued and appreciated.
As a JAG accredited centre and one of the largest trusts in the country we offer a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for all gastroenterological conditions. With waiting lists at the forefront-- we need to ensure our patients can rely on and access our service in a timely and efficient manner, and we are committed to delivering first class care to all. Success in this role will see you taking part in a 7-day rota where you will utilise your broad experience of Gastroenterology, and be clinically responsible for outpatient and endoscopy lists, inpatient care and GI bleeding. A subspeciality interest will be encouraged and supported.
