An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Technical Coordinator or Technical Manager has arisen with a leading traditional and privately owned residential build company. If you are driven, hungry for success, and lead with high energy, then we’d love to hear from you.
As the Senior Technical Manager, you will take ownership of the complete design process, including managing consultants, liaising with relevant local authorities and client/housing associations.
This developer has a very solid workflow, with up to 15 projects, a strong pipeline, and ambitious growth plans. This is an opportunity not to be missed.
Senior Technical Coordinator – experience:
* BTEC HND/HNC in Design, Construction, or Civil Engineering
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical coordination role within a residential house builder
* Solid experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Outlook, Excel & Word
* Commercially aware
* Able to make decisions within authority
* Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
Reporting to the Technical Manager, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Overseeing projects from planning to completion
* Setting up and monitoring Design Team Programmes
* Ensuring design compliance with standards
* Promoting designs that respect budgetary restraints
* Technically designing and managing schemes
* Managing Technical Coordinators, Technical Administrators, and Consultants
* Appointing and managing consultants
