IKEA Nottingham are looking to welcome Forklift Drivers on nightshift, to join our hard-working Inbound Fulfilment team.
We're actively seeking Forklift Drivers nightshift to play a crucial role in goods receiving, managing deliveries, and ensuring smooth operations. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to have you on board
WHAT WE OFFER
*
o Start Date of employment will be: 24th October
* Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour with an additional allowance of £1.50 per hour with FLT license (subject to passing training) = Total hourly rate £14.10.
* Nightshift allowance of £2.25 between the hours of 10pm to 6am.
* 30 hours weekly, working 5 shifts per week and including 3 out of 4 weekends.
* 39 hours weekly, 5 shifts per week and alternative weekends.
* Working hours are between 12midnight to 9:30am.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
*
o Warehouse experience is essential, forklift truck driving/reach truck and counter balance experience is desirable. Full training will be provided.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise workload efficiently, with a keen attention to detail.
* Proven experience in using technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
* Self-reliant and motivated, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
*
o Goods receiving, ensuring products are available to customers by ensuring tasks in your area are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
* Operate and work around heavy machinery, such as pump trucks and fork lifts, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
* Manual handling of heavy stock safely.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure environment for both customers and co-workers.
* Using your forklift safely to pick palettes and move them from our loading bay to our warehouse.
* Replenishment of the store, making sure all the shelves are full and ready for our customers.
* Counting our available stock and inputting this onto our spreadsheets.
* Recording damages and report following our guidelines.
