Reception Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Responsibilities
* Work with our Reception children as a Class Teacher in the Early Years Phase.
* Plan and deliver an inclusive curriculum, ensuring continuity and progression to enable all pupils to achieve good outcomes.
* Manage behaviour positively and effectively.
* Support pupils with a wide range of needs.
Qualifications
* Experience of Teaching in the Early Years Phase.
* Committed to high standards.
* Able to plan and deliver an inclusive curriculum, ensuring continuity and progression and enabling all pupils to achieve good outcomes.
* Strong practical experience of managing behaviour positively and effectively.
* Experience of teaching children with a wide range of needs.
Details
* Post available from October 2025 or January 2026 and is on a fixed term contract until 31 August 2026.
* Location: Red Hall Primary School, Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council.
* Term time only (39 weeks). First year salary will reflect number of working weeks remaining in the academic year.
* Visits: Walk Arounds on Monday 8 September at 4.00 pm or Thursday 11 September at 4.00 pm.

All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove their right to work in the UK. Dudley MBC does not currently offer sponsorship for candidates without the Right to Work in the UK.
