The role centres on transforming complex data into clear insights, enabling informed decisionâmaking and contributing directly to the company's longâterm success.Role DescriptionReporting directly to the Strategic Lead play a key role in enhancing visibility of cost and margin performance, building reliable reporting and ensuring profitability is a core consideration at every stagMaintain accurate and consistent cost and margin reporting.Analyse Bills of Materials (BoMs), routings, and labour flows to identify key cost drivers, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to review product design and manufacturing methods, identifying simplification opportunities and cost-down potential.Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to ensure margin performance is consistently monitored and addressedSupport the implementation of standardised cost control processes, dashboards, and reporting cyclesSkills and QualificationsIdeally qualified to degree level.Proven experience as a cost analyst, cost engineer, cost specialist or similar roleExperience in data, operational and financial analysis.Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or technical organisation.Experience working within a Standard Cost environment and showing an understanding of Manufacturing VarianceExtensive knowledge and experience of SAPCompany InformationAs a business our client is a true market leader within their industry with a strong presence across the UK.
