What You'll Be Doing
* Build strong client relationships and be their trusted advisor
* Manage your own caseload with support on hand when you need it
* Prepare pleadings, submissions and confidently represent clients in court, tribunals and mediations
* Develop negotiation strategies and deliver great outcomes for clients
* Get involved in business development and help raise the profile of the team and firm
* Work collaboratively with the firm's other divisions
* Mentor and support junior team members and trainees
What You'll Bring
* You're a problem‑solver, a clear communicator and someone who enjoys getting to grips with complex issues.
* Have a minimum of 2 years PQE, in litigation (flexible for the right person)
* Experience in one or more of: Insolvency, Commercial or Residential Landlord & Tenant, Debt Recovery, Commercial Disputes, Contentious Executries, Employment Litigation
* Confidence working with a variety of commercial and civil clients
* Strong knowledge of Sheriff Court and Court of Session experiences
* Advocacy experience – proofs, debates, motions, contentious hearings, mediations
* Excellent drafting skills and the ability to deliver clear, practical advice
* A proactive mindset and enjoyment of both independent work and team collaboration
