Were looking for a collaborative and inclusive Disability Inclusion Manager to help UKRI become a Disability Confident Leader and embed disability inclusion across our workforce. In this role, youll work closely with colleagues across HR, Estates, IT, Communications, and our staff networks to ensure that disabled staff, neurodivergent colleagues, and those with long-term health conditions are supported, valued, and empowered. Youll lead UKRIs progression to Disability Confident Level 3, coordinate the Disability Smart self-assessment, and develop practical tools, training, and resources to build inclusive capability across the organisation. Youll also play a key role in strengthening our evidence base, improving accessibility, and ensuring that lived experience informs our policies and practices. Youll bring: Strong knowledge of disability, neurodiversity, and long-term health conditions, and how these relate to equality and inclusion. Experience driving positive change for disability inclusion. Ability to work collaboratively and build trust with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. Skill in developing practical resources and delivering training to support inclusive workplaces. Confidence using data and lived experience to inform decisions and measure impact. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
