Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Town Planner, you will:
1. Support senior planners in preparing planning applications, appeals, and development appraisals.
2. Conduct site visits and planning research.
3. Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
4. Help deliver projects from initial consultation to planning approval.
5. Stay updated on local and national planning policy changes.
About You
To be considered, you’ll ideally have:
6. A relevant degree in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI accredited).
7. Eligibility or working towards RTPI membership.
8. Strong communication and report-writing skills.
9. A proactive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented attitude.
10. Some experience (placement or employment) in a consultancy or local authority environment is desirable, but not essential.
