We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic General Manager to oversee the daily operations at the Holmfirth Vineyard, a 7 acre Vineyard with onsite winery, restaurant, function suite and 8 self catering apartments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests.
Responsibilities
* Lead from the front and promote a positive and productive working environment
* Manage day to day operations including staff rota's
* Ensure consistent and excellent customer service through staff training and addressing guests concerns promptly
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control and sales targets to maximise probability
* Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety and hygiene through the premises in accordance with health regulations
* Develop marketing strategies to attract new customers whilst retaining existing clientele
Skills
* Proven experience in supervising teams within a restaurant or hospitality venue
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff an manage diverse teams effectively
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple operational aspects simultaneously
* Effective communication skills to liaise with staff, suppliers and customers professionally
* Experience in managing weddings and events
* WSET qualifications would be an advantage
40 hour a week contract across 5 days
Salary £39,000 + benefits + electric car
