Date posted: March 23, 2026 Pay: £14.79 per hour Job description: Job requirements of a Security Officer: We are looking for a Security Officer to join our established security team at Crown Milling. You will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of the Cranswick Fresh Poultry site. Shift Pattern – 4 Days on, 4 Days off. 6pm – 6am Duties · Maintain the security and integrity of our Cranswick Country Foods site · Ensure that all vehicles and personnel entering and leaving the site are authorised by management, properly monitored and accounted for · Control and use of CCTV · Control of access barriers · Registration and control of lorry deliveries · Registration and direction of visitors and contractors · Conducting external site patrols · Operating “Stop & Search” procedures · Providing Reception cover by answering and recording external telephone calls · Maintaining key control · Assisting in the enforcement of Company Policy · Accurate reporting of incidents · Implementing procedure in an emergency situation - e.g. distribution of Fire Pack What you will need: · SIA licence desirable but not essential · Excellent communication skills · A diplomatic, fair and consistent approach · A basic DBS check will be conducted on receipt of an offer of employment.
