Job Title: Installation Estimator
We are recruting for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual for a permanent role in a busy office environment to prepare detailed cost sheets, estimates, and quotations for our Contracts and Installation department. You will work closely with Project Managers and the Sales Team to ensure objectives are met on quantity, quality, and timescale, while achieving target margins.
The role demands a positive and professional approach to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with colleagues across design departments to complete quotations and accurately value projects
2. Review tenders, including drawings and specifications, advising relevant parties on content
3. Ensure all tenders comply with current legislation, including specifications and health & safety regulations
4. Verify that all plant and materials included in quotes are correct, fit for purpose, and fully detailed
5. Present tenders in agreed formats and discuss them with team members when required
6. Identify and escalate issues to senior management promptly via your line manager
7. Conduct site visits and surveys nationwide as necessary
8. Support the team with other ad hoc activities to drive process improvements
What We’re Looking For:
A detail-oriented, proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Experience in estimation or a similar role is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
