We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager. As the Finance Manager you will report to the Finance Director and be responsible for two high profile contracts. This role will be highly visible at all levels of the business requiring the successful candidate to build strong and effective relationships with all levels of Seniority within the team. Job Description As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our catering and client services, ensuring accuracy, efficiency. Operate in a finance business partner role, supporting nominated Contract Directors to manage their business to ambitious financial targets Use trend analysis and forecasting techniques to highlight risk and opportunity in a timely manner to maximise benefit to the business Provide support and training to operational teams to ensure Operations Managers and Location Managers can maximise the operational efficiency of their teams and contracts Identify and implement initiatives to deliver sustainable operational improvements Manage the month end process and providing timely and informative financial and operational information to both internal and external stakeholders Regularly present financial performance to internal and external stakeholders Lead a team of 5 consisting of 2 finance assistants, a supply chain coordinator, a supply chain manager and a rostering assistant., ensuring their development and contribution to the business is maximised Work effectively as part of a team of 10 finance business partners Internal annual budget setting for region and overheads Qualifications A lively, outgoing personality Qualified /Part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA) Proven ability to work with, and analyse big data sets Experience of operating in a multi-site retail business, ideally within a food service/ catering environment but this isn't essential A motivated, self-starter with an enquiring and pro-active approach to work Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be comfortable interacting across all levels of the business in formal and informal environments Excellent Excel skills Strong commercial mind-set A passion for delivering improvement Additional Information For almost 20 years, for every client, in every location (whether that's an office, stadium, cathedral or university), we have created beautiful spaces, exciting menus and friendly teams, so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.
