We are currently expanding our business and are now offering an exciting opportunity to join the team, as an Aftersales Apprentice at our Letchworth branch. We will provide excellent training and genuine career progression opportunities in return.

Role Responsibilities:

* You’ll be the first point of contact for customers bringing in their cars for service, maintenance, or repairs.
* Help customers book in their vehicles, provide updates on their service progress, and explain any repairs or recommendations clearly.
* Handle customer inquiries, answer questions, and provide advice on services and vehicle care in a professional yet friendly manner.
* Keep track of customer details and service history, and update records accurately in our system.
* Assist with invoicing and processing payments once work is completed.
* Ensure customers are satisfied with the service they receive and keep them coming back for future visits.
* Promote the sale of genuine parts and accessories, leveraging opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
* Assist customers in the parts department, ensuring they receive the right products for their service and repair needs.
* Maintain a clean and organised parts area, ensuring all parts are easily accessible and clearly labelled.
* Collaborate with service technicians to identify necessary parts for repairs, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
* Schedule service appointments and maintain a clear communication channel with customers about their service and repair needs.
* Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns.
* Support the team in achieving sales targets and maintaining high standards of customer service.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

* A passion for customer service and a genuine enjoyment of working with people
* Previous experience in customer service is preferred, but not essential.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
* A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to take initiative and ownership of tasks.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* A team-oriented mindset, ready to support colleagues and collaborate effectively.
* A willingness to learn and stay updated on product and technical information.
* Resilience and the ability to thrive under pressure.
