Job Description
3. Prepare and manage conveyancing documents including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation
4. Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to progress transactions
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records using legal case management software
6. Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and property searches
7. Draft routine correspondence and legal documents as directed by conveyancing solicitors
8. Assist with the completion and submission of Land Registry applications and other relevant forms
9. Monitor transaction deadlines and keep solicitors informed of case progress
10. Handle incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries professionally and promptly
11. Manage billing and invoicing processes related to conveyancing work
12. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
The Successful Applicant
13. Previous experience as a legal secretary, preferably within conveyancing or property law
14. Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures and terminology
15. Excellent organizational and time management skills
16. Proficiency in legal case management software (e.g., Eclipse, InfoTrack, or similar) and MS Office suite
17. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
18. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
19. Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
20. Discretion and confidentiality
