Playtime Day Nursery, Playgroup & Out of Schools Club established over 30 years ago. Provides childcare places for almost 170 children, employing almost 50 staff within a purpose built facility.

About the Role:

Playtime Eskra are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Administration team. They will be an experienced administrator with strong fluency in social media platforms, skilled in Canva and Meta Business Suite, and proficient in creating and managing posts on Facebook and Instagram.

Core tasks:

1. Closely liaise with the management team

2. Deal with correspondence from parents, e.g. requests for placements

3. Deal with the initial telephone/written enquiries from parents

4. Manage the Centre's social media accounts using tools such as Meta Business Suite and Canva for content creation and scheduling of posts

5. Work with the Centre's web designer to update and manage the website

6. Use Microsoft Office to organise and issue; produce newsletters using Publisher, manage a database using Excel, Outlook Email etc

7. Manage the diary to book appointments for parents to visit; for meetings etc., both on and off site

8. Assist with the preparation for meetings, information for funders etc

9. Assist with the organisation of events including; Open Day/Night, trips to include organising aspects such as transport, location, activities etc.

10. Assist with the organisation and preparation for recruitment and selection - including placing advertisements and arranging interviews, submission of fair employment monitoring

11. Update children's and staff personnel files as required and assist with maintaining a confidential filing system

12. Carry out research activities on behalf of management

13. Help ensure the seamless transfer of information between systems

14. When required, take the minutes of meetings

Experience and skills:

Essential:

* 5 GCSE's (Grades A*-C) including English and Mathematics
* Proficient in using Meta Business Suite & Canva for Social Media Posts
* Min 1 years' experience working in a busy office environment (paid work)
* Experience using Microsoft office - specifically Word, Excel & Publisher
* Ability to prioritise workload to ensure work is achieved within set time constraints

Desirable:

* 2+ Years experience working in a busy office environment (paid work)
* Experience working in a similar care environment

* Communication – to communicate effectively with parents, team members and managers in a professional manner
* Initiative/independence – to take ownership and responsibility for duties, and use initiative to identify solutions to issues

The successful candidate will have to undergo an AccessNI check and receive a clearance letter from the Health and Social Care Trust.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (Mon, Thurs, Fri 9am-5pm each day)

Annual Leave: 20 days per year plus 10 Bank Holidays pro rata
