Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a Finance Analyst for a multinational retail business based in the Blackburn area. With the business growing significantly year on year, an exciting opportunity has opened within the highest performing area in the company.
Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst:
* Extracting and analysing large datasets to support decision-making
* Developing reports using Power BI and Power Query
* Tracking and reporting project progress via project management tools
* Collaborating with stakeholders across the business
* Assisting Senior Finance Managers with financial modelling and process improvement initiatives
* Performing ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Financial Controller and Senior Finance Managers
Required skills and experience:
* Part-qualified, finalist, or qualified by experience (preferably CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
* Effective communication skills to interpret and explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders
* Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and Power Query
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
