We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead digital transformation at Higher Ed Partners UK (HEP) —delivering scalable, high-impact systems and tech solutions that support our mission to expand access to online higher education. What You’ll Be Doing As our Technical Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of strategic, cross-functional projects focused on: Technology implementation (e.g. new platforms, integrations) Process automation to drive operational efficiency Digital solutions that support student success and partner engagement You'll: ✅ Scope, plan, and deliver complex projects using Agile, PRINCE2, Scrum, or hybrid methods ✅ Translate business needs into clear technical requirements ✅ Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery ✅ Manage solution architecture, integration design, and delivery milestones ✅ Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies ✅ Lead agile ceremonies and structured governance sessions (sprints, retros, steering groups) ✅ Own change control, training, and adoption strategies for tech rollouts ✅ Maintain up-to-date reporting via tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or Confluence ✅ Regularly update the CEO and HEP UK SLT on timelines, progress, and value delivered What You’ll Bring ✔️ Proven experience managing digital or technical projects (platforms, system launches, SaaS solutions) ✔️ Strong grasp of PM methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, Waterfall) ✔️ Excellent communicator with high emotional intelligence—able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences ✔️ Proficient in project tools: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet ✔️ Comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), CRMs, APIs, and enterprise tech ✔️ Analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset Experience in EdTech, education, or digital learning environments is a plus PM certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Scrum Master) preferred Bonus: Knowledge of Generative AI and experience delivering AI-powered solutions What You’ll Get £58,000–£70,000 salary (DOE) 28 days holiday UK bank holidays Hybrid or remote working options Career development portal for personal & professional growth ️ 6% employer pension contributions Care & Connect – 24/7 mental health & wellbeing support ️ HigherPerks – discounts on top retailers, hospitality & more Refer-a-Friend scheme – generous rewards Why Join HEP?
