B2B Business Development Manager: £30k basic + monthly bonuses + 4-day working week.

We are currently looking for a self-motivated, B2B business development manager, that is passionate about sales, marketing, business development and environmental and social issues.There is potential to progress to a management position after year 1, for the right individual.

Working closely with the existing BD team, you will be primarily using phone, but also email, social media, web-based research, case studies and visual content, to start relationships for our Clients, uncover opportunities, and help convert them into new business.

The role is predominantly home-based, but you will be expected to meet with us from time to time for meetings, training and work days.

Our BDMs benefit from a good starting salary (£30k per annum) with the opportunity to earn extra monthly bonuses, aligned with their performance and client revenue.

As a suitable candidate for this role you will:

* be able to demonstrate good questioning, listening, and closing skills
* be able to articulate and compose grammatically correct emails
* have experience using and managing data on a CRM (e.g. SalesForce, Pipedrive, ZoHo, Hubspot)
* have the confidence and articulacy to be able to pitch a business proposition to senior-level decision makers
* be comfortable talking to people on the phone, Zoom or Teams
* be comfortable in a face to face, client meeting
* have a good LinkedIn profile (minimum 500 connections)
* have a positive 'can-do' attitude
* have an interest in climate change and/or philanthropic issues

Person Specification:

In order to be considered, you must:

* be based in Sussex, Surrey or Hampshire
* have experience in B2B sales, telemarketing, or business development
* be educated to A-level (or equivalent)
* be self-motivated and capable of working without distraction
* have a methodical, logical approach to work and an obsessive attention to detail
* be capable of thinking and working on your own, but also comfortable working within a team
* be comfortable working towards weekly targets
* have access to a suitable home-based office / spare room (i.e. a distraction-free working environment)
* have a suitable laptop / PC and Wi-Fi

About our Company:

Bluestone connects small businesses and agencies with their aspirational prospects (often major household brands) and helps to turn them into customers.

We strive to work with companies that are purpose-driven, and share our values around people and planet.

At the front end, we create engagement, we build relationships and we uncover opportunities using a mix of referral generation, content and social media marketing, combined with phone based engagement.

After that, we help our Clients convert those prospects into customers. Second-stage meetings, on-boarding workshops and re-engagement all play a crucial part in the business development cycle.

We attend some of the early meetings with our Clients to get a first-hand glimpse of what goes on inside the sales room
