Role: Transport Administrator
Location: Bedford
Hours: Full time, 42.5 hours per week (1 pm – 10 pm)
* However, flexibility to work an earlier shift will be required during the holidays and peak.
Salary: £15.00 per hour time and a half on overtime
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Transport Administrator to join a growing and supportive business in Milton Keynes.

Duties of a Transport Administrator:
7. Driver brief and debrief
8. Prepare and maintain shipment documents, invoices, and logbook entries
9. Process booking requests for deliveries and update records/spreadsheets
10. Manage 3rd party courier bookings and track PODs
11. Update transport cost and order reports
12. Handle international orders
13. Respond to incoming calls professionally
14. Support the team across goods in, despatch, and admin functions during busy periods
15. Ensure Health & Safety and compliance standards are met
What we would like from you:
16. Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
17. Confident decision-making and a proactive approach
18. Ability to thrive in a busy, high-volume environment (400–900 pallets daily at peak!)
19. Willingness to get hands-on in the warehouse when needed (PPE provided)
20. Good IT skills and strong communication
21. Previous experience in a transport team is highly desirable but not essential
This is an immediate start opportunity, running through to January 2026, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
