Learning Support Assistant
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Pay: £80 to £100 dependent on experience*
Start Date: September ‘25 – End of Academic Year
What’s the job?
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated KS1 Learning Support Assistant to join a warm and nurturing team. This rewarding role involves working closely with the class teacher and supporting children in Key Stage 1—both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis—to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Who are you?
* Has experience working with primary-aged children (experience with KS1 or SEN is a bonus!)
* Hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification (e.g. in Childcare, Teaching Assistance etc)
* Are patient, kind, and genuinely enthusiastic about children’s education
* Have excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
* Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Key Responsibilities:
* Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils in class and in small group or 1:1 interventions
* Supporting children’s academic, emotional, and social development
* Helping to create an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment
* Encouraging independence and building confidence in our learners
* Assisting with classroom routines, behaviour support, and personalised learning plans
