The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse to support a private hospital theatre service within the South West of England.
This opportunity offers an ongoing block booking with consistent weekday hours, providing stability and continuity within a well-established elective surgical environment. It is particularly well suited to Band 5 Scrub Nurses with recent Orthopaedic theatre experience who are looking for long-term agency work within a professional private healthcare setting.
You will be working alongside experienced theatre teams, supporting elective Orthopaedic procedures and contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of surgical services.

* Pay: £40.00 per hour Umbrella

* Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00
* Pay Method: Umbrella
* Additional Notes: Optional Saturday shifts may be available for those seeking additional hours and earning potential
What You’ll Be Doing
* Support Orthopaedic surgical procedures as part of an established theatre team
* Prepare and maintain sterile fields in line with theatre best practice
* Assist Consultants and surgical teams throughout procedures
* Ensure theatre equipment, instruments and consumables are prepared and managed appropriately
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
* Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety and theatre governance standards
* Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of elective theatre lists
What We’re Looking For
* Active NMC registration
* Recent Orthopaedic Scrub experience
* Experience working within operating theatre environments
* Strong understanding of surgical asepsis and theatre procedures
* Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary theatre teams
* Strong communication, organisation and patient safety awareness
* Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
