The role

Own and scale New Look’s personalisation capability across digital touchpoints, turning customer data and AI into measurable commercial impact. Define and deliver a clear personalisation strategy that increases conversion, loyalty and customer lifetime value, moving from isolated experiments to embedded, scalable capability. This is a horizontal product role. You will work across journeys such as PDP, PLP, Search, Checkout and CRM to ensure personalisation is cohesive and commercially meaningful.

Personalisation strategy & vision

Define and evolve the personalisation and AI product vision. Translate customer insight and data capability into a clear roadmap tied to revenue, conversion and retention metrics. Prioritise the highest value use cases, not the most interesting ones.


Commercial outcomes

Own measurable impact on metrics such as conversion rate uplift, AOV, repeat purchase rate. Define the vision, OKRs and roadmap for your product team, ensuring the work aligns with our goals and product strategy. Ensure experimentation is structured, statistically sound and tied to clear success criteria.


Build scalable capability

Partner with Engineering and Data to ensure strong foundations across data quality, identity and segmentation, experimentation frameworks, recommendation infrastructure. Move from “test and learn” to embedded capability that can be reused across squads.


Cross‑functional leadership

* Build and lead a healthy & high‑performing team with a strong relationship with your technical lead
* Work with other squads across Digital to embed personalisation across the customer journey
* Communicate risk, impact and progress clearly to senior leadership
* Present at all levels of the business on our strategy & progress, from Digital teams to board‑level summaries
* Align commercial, brand and data stakeholders around clear trade‑offs and sequencing


Qualifications

* Proven experience building and scaling personalisation or AI‑driven products in e‑commerce or digital consumer platforms
* Demonstrated commercial impact from personalisation initiatives, for example measurable uplift in conversion, AOV, retention or customer lifetime value
* Strong understanding of experimentation, including hypothesis design, test sizing, statistical significance and clear success criteria
* Proven experience leading a cross‑functional squad that is happy & healthy, ship frequently, and move meaningful metrics
* Experience working closely with data science and engineering to ship recommendation engines, segmentation models or AI‑enabled experiences at scale
* Ability to discuss technical trade‑offs with engineering, including data architecture, identity resolution and performance considerations
* Strong analytical skills with confidence interpreting both quantitative data and qualitative insight to drive prioritisation
* Clear, structured communicator who can articulate risk, impact and progress to senior stakeholders


Desirable

* Exposure to customer loyalty or CRM programmes and how personalisation supports retention
* Experience with headless or composable e‑commerce architectures
* Familiarity with personalisation platforms such as recommendation engines, CDPs or experimentation tools
* Prior experience in fashion or high frequency retail
