Office Coordinator & Front of House. Global Development Consultancy. Farringdon, London
6-Month Fixed Term Contract. ASAP start. £35,000 pro rata + Healthcare & Pension.
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced Office Coordinator to join a purpose-driven global development consultancy. You’ll be the ‘go-to’ person for a wide range of requests, ensuring the office runs smoothly and providing an exceptional front of house experience to visitors.
You’ll enjoy a varied role, working closely with the Executive Assistant and wider leadership team. It’s a fast-paced, engaging environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a positive, professional, and well-functioning workplace.
\t
* Manage reception and front of house duties, greeting guests, coordinating meeting rooms, and supporting internal events.
\t
* Support health and safety procedures, inductions, and compliance training (including fire marshal and first aid coordination).
\t
* Assist with budget tracking and facilities-related expenditure.
\t
* Coordinate logistics for internal and external events, ensuring seamless preparation, delivery, and post-event follow-up.
\t
* Liaise with IT and Finance teams on office systems, passes, and general administrative matters.
\t
* Provide ad hoc support to colleagues and visiting staff.
Skill and Experience:
\t
* Experience in office or facilities coordination.
\t
* A highly organised, proactive, and resourceful approach.
\t
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
\t
* Solid knowledge of MS Office applications.
\t
* A genuine commitment to supporting others and creating a positive workplace culture.
Salary & Benefits:

* Initially a 4-week temp assignment, with a view to converting to a 6-month fixed-term contract

* £35,000 per annum (pro rata)
\t
* 25 days annual leave (pro rata)
\t
* Medical insurance and Pension (5% employer contribution)

* Core hours: 8:30am -5:00 p.m.
