We are looking to significantly grow and scale our capabilities across Financial Risk Management ("FRM") within the banking industry to become the market leading firm of choice - working together with our clients to find new ways to secure value and to navigate uncertainty with confidence.
We're hiring individuals with experience of first and/or second line treasury risk management. You'll be working collaboratively with our Prudential Regulatory, Technology and Data and Risk Modelling teams and will play a key role in us building a market leading 'PwC FRM' brand. You'll have the opportunity to deepen and expand your professional and personal skills including your leadership, commercial and technology skills.
We have exciting opportunities for individuals with all levels of experience in Treasury Risk Management including those with consultancy as well as industry treasury/risk experience.
We are hiring at Director level. Note that we will assess the depth and breadth of an individual's skills and experience in determining the appropriate level.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Leading on projects relating to Treasury Risk Management including risk management frameworks, policies and procedures, risk measurement, monitoring and reporting
• Working with our Technology specialists to develop new technology solutions to take to market and/or enhance our client service
• Being a member of and leading teams on large and small engagements - working as part of a project team on client sites and day-to-day liaison with clients
• Identifying the impact of regulatory and broader business / economic change and supporting clients to adapt to the challenges an evolving landscape presents
• Preparing analysis and reports
• Development of marketing and sales activities
• Relationship building and networking with clients and internally across PwC
• Participating in PwC's Thought Leadership
Essential skills
We need individuals with deep skills and experience in one or a combination of the following:
• First and / or second line treasury risk management within Treasury Risk and/or Corporate treasury functions or experience gained through third-line internal audit
• Balance sheet, cash and liquidity management (including intra-day liquidity)functions
• Asset & liability management; interest rate risk management and FX management
• Funds Transfer Pricing; sources and uses analysis
• Developing and/or implementing liquidity and treasury risk management pol cies, procedures and strategies to manage liquidity, funding, capital and balance sheet risks
• Treasury forecasting and stress testing, including for internal, ILAAP/ICAAP and Recovery Plan purposes
• Designing and/or implementing Target Operating Models for Treasury Risk Management functions
Individuals should also have the following skills:
• Good written, verbal and numerical skills.
• Good relationship management skills and, depending on past roles and grade, experience in project management and/or managing small teams/individuals.
• Experience of problem solving and navigating through complexity
Experience of working with Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx and/or other technology solutions would also
be advantageous.
