Job Summary
The Social Work Assistant provides support to our team of Social Workers as well as undertaking direct work with supervisors in-line with support-plans.
Duties
* Provide Direct intervention and work with parents in line with identified support needs
* Facilitate group work as required
* Collaborate and support Managers and Social Workers
* Quality Assurance of Documentation in line with company expectations
* Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all aspects of social work practice.
* Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
* Monitor case loads and provide support in complex cases as needed.
* Take an active role in meetings to discuss case progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
* Provide guidance and direction to a small team where required
* Part-take in the on-call duty rota
Skills
* Proven experience in a social work or related environment.
* Strong mentoring abilities, with a focus on developing the skills of team members.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work within timescales
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
* Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and cultural competence in all interactions.
Salary to be discussed based upon experience.
Hours-
Mon-Fri plus on-call rota.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £23,500.00 per year
