A market leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced Sales Administrator to join the business, based in Bishop Auckland, for a fully office-based role.
The successful candidate must have an excellent telephone manner, a high standard of customer service and be able to work as part of a team. As a key member of staff, you must be able to work efficiently and accurately in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintaining the records of existing companies and contacts
2. Setting up new customers
3. Processing customer enquiries and sales orders
4. Entering prices and quotations onto an ERP system
5. Setting up collections with couriers
6. Processing invoices
7. Dealing with customer queries and complaints
8. Researching sales opportunities from a variety of sources
9. Contacting potential customers to gather information for marketing purposes and recording findings within the computerised customer database
10. General administrative duties
A full knowledge of our products is essential therefore in-depth product training will be provided.
Requirements/Experience:
Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be IT literate, and have experience of Microsoft Office.
Experience of using a CRM or ERP system would be an advantage. An eye for detail and a high level of accuracy is essential.
A minimum of 5 GCSE's at grade 5/grade C and above, or equivalent including English and Maths.
