The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected law firm known for delivering high-quality legal services to businesses and individuals. Due to the ongoing growth of our client’s personal injury Employer’s Liability and Public Liability department, they are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Litigation Executive. This role involves managing your own caseload, providing expert advice on liability and quantum for fast-track & multi-track cases.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in handling litigated Employer’s Liability and Public Liability cases. Responsibilities include running cases independently, drafting witness statements, reviewing disclosures, instructing counsel, attending conferences and trials, considering quantum, and negotiating settlements.
This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse range of EL/PL cases for various insurance clients. The role requires a highly analytical approach to liability issues and a strong understanding of documentation and evidence. Cases are typically managed on a non-delegated authority basis, offering responsibility and autonomy.
The Candidate
* Experience as a Litigation Executive handling EL/PL caseloads
* Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and manage varied cases
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong legal and leadership skills with attention to detail
* Excellent organization and time-management skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Understanding of case law, litigation practice, and SRA Standards & Regulations
