Your Role
As a Managing Consultant in our Modern Work team, you will play a senior leadership role in helping clients realise meaningful business value from their digital workplace investments. You will lead large‑scale change and adoption programmes focused on Microsoft Modern Work technologies such as Microsoft 365, Viva, M365 Copilot and Agentic solutions.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, people and ways of working. You will combine strong consulting and change leadership with deep understanding of modern collaboration and productivity tools to deliver sustainable outcomes for clients. As a Managing Consultant, you will take accountability for complex delivery, senior stakeholder relationships and the ongoing growth of our Modern Work change and adoption capability.
Responsibilities
* Shaping our Modern Work strategy:
o Shape and articulate a clear vision for Modern Work and workplace AI adoption, creating differentiated propositions and offers that align with client business objectives, workforce maturity and operating context.
o Advise clients on how to maximise value from Microsoft Modern Work technologies through behavioural change, adoption and experience‑led transformation.
o Support the evolution of our change and adoption propositions, playbooks and accelerators, including approaches for AI and Copilot adoption.
* Leading complex delivery:
o Take full accountability for leading and delivering large‑scale Modern Work change programmes, often alongside complex technical implementations such as M365 migrations, Copilot rollouts or device programmes.
o Lead the design and execution of stakeholder and impact assessments, executive and sponsor engagement plans, communications and engagement strategies, role‑based learning and enablement, and adoption metrics and benefit tracking.
o Proactively manage delivery risk, interdependencies and change fatigue across multi‑workstream environments.
o Ensure adoption approaches are evidence‑led, outcome‑focused and embedded beyond go‑live.
* Client and stakeholder leadership:
o Build and grow a robust client portfolio, identifying new opportunities and driving revenue growth.
o Contribute to business development activity, including proposals, pitches and shaping client conversations.
* Leading and inspiring teams:
o Foster a high‑performance culture by coaching and mentoring teams, promoting collaboration and personal development.
o Lead by example to inspire innovation and sustain a positive, inclusive environment.
* Market understanding:
o Curiosity for what's next in the market and identifying what that means for our clients.
Qualifications
* Leadership:
o Proven ability to build, grow and lead cross‑functional teams, coaching direct and indirect reports to achieve cohesion and high performance.
o Skilled at engaging senior stakeholders to influence strategic investment decisions in workplace technologies and champion adoption of AI solutions.
o Demonstrates strong ethical values and integrity.
* Business & Methods:
o Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate the value of Change and Adoption propositions and business outcomes to clients.
o Extensive experience delivering digital transformation projects that achieve measurable results.
o Strong commercial acumen with experience in developing and growing consulting pipelines across multiple accounts and markets.
o Expertise in applying strategic and innovative approaches to solve complex, analytical and technical business challenges.
* Technical:
o Solid understanding of AI solution development methodologies, emerging trends and risk mitigation strategies.
o Awareness of ethical considerations in AI, including bias and fairness, and knowledge of techniques to address these issues.
* Experience:
o Extensive experience in a major consulting firm or in industry with a consulting background, including internal consulting within large organisations.
o Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver large‑scale change and adoption programmes.
