We are currently running three Manufacturer teams across a range of World Championships on track and off-road.
Our skilled Technicians, Mechanics, Fabricators and Engineers work together every step of the way to design, build and run elite competition cars on the track and off-road across the globe. We are looking for a Bodyshell Fabricator to join our talented Fabrication team in the Bodyshop. In this role you will produce components for various motorsport activities, including roll cages, car body repairs, modifications and restorations.
Key Responsibilities
* Build roll cages and shells using build manuals and codes of practice for guidance
* Prepare body shells including the fabrication and welding of roll cages and component parts to be used in the shell
* Assembly of space frames and roll cage installations
* Shell repairs and body modifications
* Produce jigs and fixtures
* Tig and Mig welding to very high standards
* Fabricate and weld a variety of materials including steel, aluminium and stainless steel
* Work to tight tolerances and deadlines, whilst achieving a high-level of quality and ensuring delivery schedules are met
Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role (ideally within Motorsport, although not essential), and the ability to Tig and Mig weld to a high standard. You will be able to work from engineering drawings, have a flexible, positive attitude and be able to work alone or part of a team.
