Job Title: Graduate Submarines Product Legislation
Location: Barrow (Cumbria)
We offer relocation support packages for this role, subject to meeting eligibility criteria. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.
Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus
What you'll be doing
* Identify legislation applicable to systems and equipment on the submarine to make sure the submarines can be operated, maintained and decommissioned in accordance with relevant legislation.
* Ensure that as a place of work, the Royal Navy and BAE can discharge their responsibilities as an employers (e.g. during sea trials).
* Supporting BAE employees understanding the legislative requirements as it applies to their role and the system(s) they oversee;
* Assist in the development, maintenance and upkeep of core documentation: Product Legislation Management conformity report, Legislation registers, Principles, Processes and Plans, Specific Project Deliverables, Surveillance of changes to legislation.
