Electrical Design Engineer — RSE, Cumbernauld, Scotland, United Kingdom.
RSE is a trusted clean water technology company delivering water treatment products, technologies, and services across the UK. We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our in-house Design team within the Asset Management & Technical Services business platform in Cumbernauld. You will be involved in all aspects of projects, from scoping and detailed design through to implementation, with a multi-disciplinary team serving the Water sector.
Responsibilities
* Developing industry-leading electrical and instrumentation/control concepts and detailed designs.
* Close liaison with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
* Participating in safety studies (Hazop) and related activities.
* Reviewing design solutions for MCC, PLC and instrumentation from suppliers both within and outside the RSE group.
* Collaborating with in-house construction and commissioning teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
What Do You Need?
* Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Knowledge of British and European design standards.
* A passion to succeed and develop your career.
* Experience of working at all design stages is highly desirable.
* Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
