Eden Fyfe is an accountancy and business advisory practice based in Glenrothes, Fife. The company was established in 2007 and operates nationwide from its Fife headquarters. Eden Fyfe Accounts Limited specializes in providing expert advice on accounting systems, integrated business strategies, access to financial services, and specialist tax advice.
What will you be doing:
Eden Fyfe are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and conscientious individual to join their team as an Accounts Assistant and will consider full and part time applications.
The role will be based at their offices in Glenrothes and on occasion at clients' premises. Due to this, the role requires candidates to hold a valid driving licence and access to their own car or transport.
Key responsibilities:
* Preparation of annual statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for non-audit limited companies.
* Preparation of annual accounts for sole traders and partnerships.
* Bookkeeping and VAT returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
* Corresponding and communicating with clients.
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
About You:
* Experience of working within a similar role
* Proficient IT skills, particularly with using Microsoft Office packages
* Experience using Xero and other accounting packages
* Accountancy Practice Experience
* Be able to manage your own workload
* Capable of working to tight deadlines whilst retaining accuracy in work methods
* Possess excellent time management skills
* Strong communication skills
* High level of enthusiasm and commitment
