Experience working in one of Yorkshire’s largest in-house tax teams
This is a tax role that truly offers the opportunity to advise and influence one of the UK’s largest supermarket retailers.
Supported by the Head of Tax, the role will include involvement in a broad range of tax matters, such as transaction tax support, the R&D process, HMRC enquiries, Transfer Pricing and Financing support, as well as providing support on tax compliance matters including tax accounting under IFRS.

Although the tax team of 10 sits within the finance function, you will have broad responsibilities that extend beyond finance into the wider business. You will have the opportunity to work with and gain exposure across the entire retail environment, helping to build an understanding of changing tax legislation to impact, influence, and inform decision-making across ASDA.

* Ideally, you will be a qualified tax manager
* ACA or CTA qualified
* A strong corporate tax background is essential, including experience in preparing corporation tax computations and tax disclosures for statutory accounts.
