About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a well-respected primary school in Salisbury on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development across a range of age groups.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2), depending on experience and school needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide classroom support to teachers across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
* Deliver targeted 1:1 support for pupils who require additional assistance
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals
About You
* Previous experience in Early Years or a classroom-based setting is highly desirable
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Flexible and adaptable approach to working across different year groups
