SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Role in Eccles (January Start)
Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Eccles to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This full-time role (8:30am – 3:30pm) begins in January and involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs through both one-to-one work and small group interventions.
The school is committed to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum where every child is supported to succeed. You’ll be joining a caring, collaborative team that strives to create a nurturing environment for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN, individually and in small groups
• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering differentiated activities
• Contribute to the implementation and review of IEPs
• Help maintain an inclusive, engaging and safe learning environment
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to support pupil progress
• Adapt support strategies to meet individual needs
What We’re Looking For:
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Experience supporting children with SEN
• A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing
• Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (training available)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
