This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a strong background in financial reporting, management accounts, and client advisory services. You’ll join a supportive team where your expertise will directly contribute to business growth and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with UK accounting standards (UK GAAP, IFRS)
* Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients
* Lead client accounting services, including VAT, payroll, and corporate tax support
* Mentor junior accountants and support professional development within the team
* Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards
Essential Skills & Experience:
* ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
* A minimum of 2 years' proven experience in a senior accountant or audit/accounting role within a UK accountancy firm
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, management accounts, bookkeeping, and taxation
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
* Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, IRIS) and MS Excel
