We are seeking an experienced Marine Manager / DPA to join our clients fleet management team. This is a leadership role responsible for leading the marine department and ensuring compliance with the company Safety Management Systems and maritime legislation. This role requires sound knowledge of marine safety and is suited to an individual with excellent communication, management and leadership skills in a dynamic environment SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT Essential: * Sailed to a senior rank (Chief Officer/Master). * Minimum of 3 years’ shore-based experience in a vessel management or marine safety capacity. * In depth knowledge of the ISM Code, SMS principles, and marine safety legislation. * Strong leadership with the ability to manage and mentor shore based and seagoing personnel. * Proven experience managing vessel operations, audits, incident investigations, and training programmes. * Excellent communication and report-writing skills. * Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
