We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Senior/Specialist Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team on the Urgent and Emergency Care unit at King’s Mill Hospital. Our team is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience through assessment, signposting and rehabilitation, from hyper‑acute through to rehab and recovery.

Person Specification
Knowledge Requirements
* Highly developed knowledge and ability to meet the standards and expected criteria for this therapy service.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Supervisory skills.
* Able to work within a team independently.
* Ability to pass on skills and knowledge to others.
* Ability to organise, prioritise and delegate.
* Effective communication skills – oral and written.
* Ability to keep accurate and legible patient records.
* Able to provide and receive complex and/or sensitive information.
* Remain updated with professional practice and new research.
* Knowledge of clinical governance and its application to therapy.
* Familiarity with evidence‑based research.
Qualifications
* Degree in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy BSc(Hons) or Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy.
* HCPC registration.
Further Training
* Leadership/management course.
Experience
* Experience of clinical supervision of therapy students.
Contractual Requirements
* Must be extremely flexible and able to do 7‑day working.
