Teaching Assistant – SEN Support (Full-Time) Location: Longsight Start Date: February 2026 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a well-regarded primary school in Longsight that is seeking a caring, dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). In this full-time role, you will work closely with children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, supporting a variety of SEN needs. Key Responsibilities Provide support to pupils with SEN across academic tasks and daily routines Assist teachers with planning and delivering differentiated learning Lead targeted one-to-one interventions to help pupils meet their goals Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment Support the implementation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals to ensure consistent, holistic support What We’re Looking For GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children or young people with SEN Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, flexible, collaborative approach Level 2 Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete—training provided) Why Join Teaching Personnel?
