Shift Manager
Location: Northern Ireland
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Role Overview
The Shift Manager is responsible for leading, motivating, and developing a team of operatives to deliver production targets safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Monitor production processes to ensure full compliance with food safety and quality standards.
* Identify and resolve production issues quickly to maintain efficiency and minimise downtime.
* Train, mentor, and develop team members, ensuring adherence to safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
* Take ownership of achieving daily production targets while maintaining product quality.
* Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
* Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Despatch teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing environment.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* High attention to detail with a strong focus on food safety and product quality.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Desirable
* Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
* Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent).
* Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment or process issues.
