A leading accountancy and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join their growing Not-for-Profit Audit team. This is an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified ACA or ACCA professional who is passionate about making a difference and looking to develop their career in a people-focused, values-driven environment.

The Role
The successful candidate will support a diverse portfolio of not-for-profit clients including charities, educational bodies, membership organisations, and more. You’ll be responsible for leading audits from planning through to completion, managing junior staff, and maintaining excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality audits using a bespoke, risk-based approach.
* Lead and assist on audits, acting as senior and reporting directly to managers.
* Supervise, delegate, and review the work of junior team members.
* Prepare financial statements, management letters, and other audit deliverables.
* Communicate with audit managers on client progress and control recommendations.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
* Support clients and colleagues with technical queries and sector-specific insights.
About You
* ACA or ACCA part-qualified (or equivalent).
* Experience leading audits from planning to completion.
* Strong interest in working with not-for-profit organisations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; data analytics experience is a plus.
* Committed to high standards of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.
