About The Role
Our placements last for 12 months where you will gain valuable experience and develop a number of key skills working in our IT department. Our IT team is responsible for managing the company’s information technology needs in a busy, fast-moving environment. This placement will provide you with a real insight into the role of an IT professional.
What You’ll Do
* Provide expert assistance to hundreds of users based in offices and construction sites across the UK.
* Work as part of the service desk providing first line support, ensuring our people have access to the systems and software they need.
* Have the opportunity to learn about and work with Infrastructure, Database and Application teams to improve knowledge and skills.
* Be involved in the rollout and upgrades of various systems, including mobile tech and mobile device management.
What You’ll Need
* You must be studying a full-time undergraduate degree in Business Technology, Software Engineering, Cyber Security or other related courses.
* Excellent IT skills and a desire to learn about new technologies and how we can implement them to improve the way we work.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to juggle numerous projects simultaneously.
* A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
